The licensing layer, explained

No trade licence. Business licence, WSIB, and insurance apply; Ontario One Call locates are required before excavation, and structural retaining walls (typically over ~1m) can require engineering and permits. ICPI (interlock) and SRW (segmental retaining wall) certifications are the industry credentials that signal proper base and drainage practice.
