Scope the right fit

On a short call we discuss what you'd like to support (general convening, a specific working group, contributor support) and how recognition is best handled given your organisation's constraints.

Memorandum of support

A simple written memorandum captures what we agreed: the contribution, how recognition is handled, and any specific deliverables you're supporting. Plain language, one page.

Recognition that travels with the work

Sponsors are recognised on the initiative site, in the published deliverables, and at convening events. The deliverables go on to live with their long-term custodian organisations; your name travels with them.

Why don't you publish dollar amounts or named tiers?

Because the right contribution shape varies by organisation, sector, and fiscal calendar. A fixed three-tier matrix would either price out organisations who can contribute meaningfully in-kind, or undersell organisations who can support the work at a larger scale. We figure out the right fit on a short call.

Can sponsorship be in-kind rather than cash?

Yes. In-kind contributions are very welcome: staff time on Working Group Committees, hosting convening events, contributing data or research access, or providing legal and editorial support. We treat in-kind and cash on the same recognition footing, scaled to the contribution.

Our fiscal year doesn't align with the January-February 2027 publication window. Does that matter?

Not really. We can structure agreements across fiscal years, including multi-year support for ongoing maintenance once deliverables transition to their long-term custodian organisations. Tell us about your constraints on the intake call; we will work with them.

What does the intake call actually look like?

Twenty to thirty minutes. We share the latest state of the working groups and the deliverables, you share what you'd like to support and any constraints, and we leave with a clear next step. No deck pitch, no pressure, no commitment from either side until both teams have what they need.
